River Caragh

Below Glencar, where I spent the Tuesday of the meet hawking snipe on the bog, the River Caragh becomes Lough Caragh, then a river again, then Caragh Bay which opens on to Dingle Bay. We happened to get a photo of the lower reach of the river where it runs adjacent to the Ring of Kerry. 


There were a couple of paddlers in canoes (not visible in the photo), but what drew my attention was a nearby sign for the Caragh Bridge Angling Club. As I've mentioned at least once already, I really need to come back with my fly tackle...
