Starting from Sabino Canyon Recreation Area, Rebekah, Jessica and I spent a late morning and early afternoon hiking up the Bear Canyon trail to Seven Falls. (Yes, an earlier start would have been better.) I won't annotate, but I invite you to imagine the heat—-and, away from Bear Creek, the silence—of the desert.
