Wood and water
Some city parks have swings. Some, apparently, have bald-cypress swamps. We found this one, in the town of McGehee in southern Arkansas, charming even before the baby raccoon showed up. More municipalities should set aside spots like this...not exactly deep enough for ivorybills, but better by far than a lawn with a few shrubs and park benches.
